She graduated from University of Łódź and received PhD in economics from Warsaw School of Economics in 2013. She leads projects financed by National Science Centre, Poland and CERGE-EI Foundation. She has also received the START scholarship founded by Foundation for Polish Science. She had the research stays in Spain: Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla, CUNEF Madrid.
In the research work she focuses on labour economics – in micro and macro perspectives. She analyses the meaning of and the factors that determine the worker flows between states in the labour market, including labour force and inactivity.
